Get to Know GE - imagination at work

vendredi 16 septembre 2016

Event Date: Tuesday, September 20, 2016

Energy, Healthcare, Transportation - these are just some of the industries where GE is working to build brilliant answers to urgent questions; like how do we build the perfect jet engine? then use it to create power for places in need?  How can we see the world in new dimensions to cure disease? How can software spark a new industrial revolution, where carbon footprints shrink as economies thrive?

Come “Get to Know GE”.  Hear about our history, our future, what we do, and where we’re going.  Meet our executives, managers, and recent graduates who are eager to speak to you about their GE businesses and experiences.  And of course, come learn about our Campus Opportunities - from our many co-op & internships to our world-class rotational Leadership Programs.

This session is open to individuals who identify with ALL the following criteria:

  • Are an undergraduate or master’s student with less than 2 years of work experience
  • Are interested in learning about co-op/internship opportunities and entry-level roles
  • Have studied either:
  • Engineering, majoring in: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Industrial/Systems, Civil, Computer, Software or equivalent related discipline
  • Computing, majoring in: Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent related discipline

To register for GE Canada’s Toronto Fall Information Session – Engineering & Computer Science, RSVP at: http://invent.ge/2c0HMfQ by September 18th.   The event will be taking place on Tuesday September 20th at the Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.  Please note that space is limited, and it is asked that only those who meet the stipulated criteria above, attend.

(Did you know the Steam Whistle Brewery is a Pokéstop.  Take advantage of our Lures throughout the event!)
