The International Student Orientation Day will provide you with important information regarding how to make the most of your Western experience and will also provide you with a great opportunity to meet IESC staff, volunteers, and other new international students from around the world!
Topics will include:
What to expect during your first few weeks on campus
Life as a Western student
Navigating campus and the City of London
Unwritten rules of the Canadian classroom
Academic values at Western and in Canada
Health insurance, Extended Health Benefits, and Health Care in Canada
Tips for cultural and social adjustment
Important Immigration Information

Important Notice:
Undergraduate International and Exchange Students will participate in Orientation from 9:30- 1:00 p.m.
After lunch all undergraduate and exchange students will be invited to visit one of two break out rooms to learn more about undergraduate student life at Western or participate in an informal Question & Answer session with Western International staff. These breakout rooms will be open until 3:30 pm.
Main campus exchange students (except Ivey and Law Exchange) are required to stay for an exchange specific information session from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
International Graduate Students (Masters, Doctoral) will participate in Orientation from 1:00-3:30 p.m.
Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to sign in and find a seat.
Students are invited to register online by Thursday August 31, 2017. Spaces are limited.
