Event Date: Tuesday, March 28, 2017

Zoheb Nasir; Postdoctoral Fellow in Civil and Mining Engineering, Unversity of Toronto "Numerical Modeling of Tornado Flow Structure" Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering (Wind Engineering) Research project or dissertation: Numerical Modeling of Like Vortex and Its Interaction with Bluff-body

MESc in Civil & Environmental Engineering Research project or dissertation: Analytical and Experimental Study of a Three-Dimensional Internal Hydraulic Jump in a Shallow Channel of Limited Width.

Ibrahim Ibrahim; graduated from Alexandria University in 2012. He then worked as a TA in 2 different universities back in Egypt, along with working in the construction field. He also worked in the same field in Saudi Arabia for a year before moving to Canada for his post graduate studies. He is now working on his master's under the supervision of Prof. El Damatty, joining a large team working on investigating the effect of downburst wind loading on transmission line systems. He is utilizing computational fluid dynamics to resolve the wind development, before applying the resolved flow on the line system through in-house  finite element codes to study the behavior of different transmission line components."
