Migratory bird populations in North America have declined by half since the 1970s, and may species are continuing to decline rapidly here and around the world. Several Western researchers were involved in the production of a feature length, award-winning film about the causes of bird declines and the efforts researchers are making to understand why.
Panel Following Screening
A panel discussion will be held after the movie with Dr. Chris Guglielmo (Co-director of the Advanced Facility of Avian Research), Michael Mesure (director of Fatal Light Awareness Program), Dr. Keith Hobson (UWO Department of Biology), and Dr. Scott MacDougall-Shackleton (UWO Department of Psychology).
Tickets are available at the door and it will cost $5 for students and $7 for non-students. Free parking will be available at the Siebens-Drake Research Institute parking lot after 6:30pm.
