Dr. Fallesen researches family demography, social inequality, child welfare, mental health, criminal justice, and applied econometrics. He is currently studying the effect of imposing welfare benefit ceilings on family stability and welfare, how children affect parental outcomes after a divorce, and the efficacy of medical treatment of ADHD on children's long term outcomes.
