will present a talk entitled:
Electrochemistry at nanoscale: energy modulation and electron transfer
Abstract:
Micro-/nanofabrication are the cutting edge of modern industrial manufacture and electrochemistry plays irreplaceable roles in the micro-/nanofabrications, such as ultra-large scale integration circuit (ULSI), microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), miniaturized total analysis systems (µ-TAS) and precision optics. However, at nanometer scale the electrode process present distinct properties from those observed from conventional electrochemical system. In this presentation I will introduce our efforts on modulating the energy of electrochemical system and the relevant effects on the charge transfer properties, and their applications in electrochemical micro-/nanofabrications, including the chemical potential, dielectric environment, photoelectric effect, contact electrifications, mechanical force, etc.
