Interested in gaining cross-functional experience while receiving executive level mentorship? Curious about solving a real-world Walmart business case and presenting your recommendations to the executive team? Come learn more about our DARE1 and DARE3 rotational graduate programs that Develops Accelerated Retail Experience!

DARE1 – A one-year Home Office placement where participants rotate through cross-functional areas to experience first-hand how those teams support the business. The program starts with a 12 week rotation in Store Operations, followed by another 12 week rotation in Merchandising & Ecommerce. The program continues with 2 elective rotations of the participant’s choice which may include rotations in strategy, supply chain, private label and strategic sourcing, space planning, marketing, and many more.

DARE3 – A two and a half year program providing a foundational understanding of operational processes and procedures, combined with change leadership. Participants in this stream spend a year learning store operations, a year in role leading operations as a Co-Manager, followed by 6 months in Home Office where participants leverage their operational learning’s across 2 rotations of choice.

The DARE program is particularly exciting for students who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit as this program enables you to act as owners and take accountability throughout your rotations. The program also has a strong mentorship component where each DARE associate is partnered with cross-functional mentors at different levels of the organization for continuous development and coaching.
